For your little ones: While we love your little ones and wish they could be here to celebrate with us, we kindly ask that our wedding be kept an adults only event. If you plan to have your tiny humans traveling with you for the weekend, please contact Amanda and she is happy to help you arrange child care.

For Altitude: We love Beaver Creek, but for those traveling in, it is located 8,080 feet above sea level and we want everyone to have a safe and great stay, so here are some tips to help avoid altitude sickness:
1. Hydrate: be sure to drink plenty of water leading up to and during your stay.
2. Avoid strenuous activity for the first 24 hours, let your body acclimate to the altitude.
3. Get plenty of rest
4. Be sure to eat, see our restaurant recommendations :)
5. Be mindful with alcohol consumption
6. Check out a local IV or oxygen bar:

For the weather: The weather in Beaver Creek can be a little unpredictable. When we booked our venue, the venue coordinator warned us that it will either be 70 degrees and sunny or 30 degrees and snowy. Obviously we are hoping for great weather, but knowing that mountain weather can change quickly, we recommend that you come prepared with some colder weather items - like a good coat! Even if the wedding day is warm, temperatures tend to drop in the mountains at night and a jacket is recommended.

On Covid-19...

We know that times are uncertain and this year has been anything but normal for all of us, so we wanted to take a moment and address how we are handing the current pandemic. We would love for those that feel comfortable to attend, but we also respect those that don’t feel comfortable with travel or being with a larger group of people this fall. We will be partnering with our families, vendors, and the Ritz-Carlton to make sure we are following all guidelines and recommendations in place in October and we will update you all if any plans need to change. The Wedding and Reception will be held outdoors to maximize ventilation. Additionally, we will be providing all guests with masks and hand sanitizer upon arrival to have and use at their comfort. We will have smaller tables, spaced 6 feet apart, and increased distancing through the event to promote social distancing where possible. Our goal is to celebrate with everyone as safely as possible and to respect everyone's comfort levels in this time. Overall, we think that in such emotional and uncertain times, we need something positive to look forward to and focus on. We cannot wait to celebrate the start of our next chapter with you all in Bachelor Gulch this fall!
