First Date

HOW THEY MET

We both reentered the dating scene and signed up for Match.com We were initially expecting a few passing dates, filled with polite chatter, but we got so much more! Daniel was moving to Atlanta from Tennessee to start his first year of residency in Emory University's Family Medicine program. After a few messaging threads, we agreed to meet his second day back at Table & Main in Roswell, GA.

Fun fact: Canton, the street where Table & Main is located, is also the same street that Daniel's great grandfather had Feckoury Grocery Store when he first immigrated to the States!

HOW THEY FELT THE MOMENT THEY MET

From the groom: "I could feel that something big was happening, like something good was coming into my life. I knew I loved her the second I saw her by the light in her eyes."

From the bride: "I felt so at ease, like I didn't have to put my best "dating face" on. The conversation was like I was talking to someone I had known my entire life. By the time dinner was over, I knew I met my match."

FROM THAT MOMENT

We have been inseparable ever since. The next day we went to Passion City Church and Louie gave a message that the Lord has ways of bringing people and moments to form you into the person God has called you to be and to align you to the plan he has for your life. He said, someone could come from Tennessee all the way to Atlanta, just to impact you in ways you never dreamed of, because God ordained it. Daniel and I, having known each other for only a day, looked at one another in shock. Describing it as a sign from God doesn't even begin to cover it. And after three years of dating, it feels like our forever is just beginning. #ForeverFeckoury
