Dress Code

Let's celebrate our colorful cultural diversity!

This is our simplified version of a Mehndi night. Mendhi is otherwise known as henna, is a paste associated with positive spirits and good luck. Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehndi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride and groom good health and prosperity as they make their journey on to marriage.

We are making it super chilled as a  sundowner with finger foods, a henna station and little dancing. We will be finishing by 10.30 pm to save our energy for the wedding!

The dress code for this night is beachy Indian or Indo-Western.

Here are some ideas for outfits online. Remember it will be HOT, so make sure you are also comfortable.

Join us, on the sand & by the sea for our 'I do's'
Dress Code

Inspired by the colours of Diani , ocean, earth & sunset
The ceremony will take place on the beach, followed by our reception under a beautiful Baobab tree in the garden. Our dress code is Coastal Boho Chic , relaxed, elegant, colourful and a little bit playful.

Diani will be warm, so think light, breathable fabrics and outfits you feel comfortable celebrating in.
Come colourful. Come comfortable. Come as yourself.
Think flowing dresses, linen shirts and trousers, light suits, bold prints, saris, kaftans and natural textures.
And feel free to have fun with it , flower crowns, statement jewellery, bold earrings, colourful accessories, a touch of sparkle, or anything that brings out your personality is very welcome. ✨

Our colour palette is simply inspiration, not a rulebook. We would love everyone to bring their own style and feel like themselves.

For the beach ceremony: stilettos and high heels will sink into the sand, so we recommend flats, wedges, sandals or going barefoot. We’ll have a shoe stand available where you can leave your heels and change into them later for the reception if you wish.

After the ceremony, we’ll enjoy drinks, photos and sunset moments before heading into dinner and celebrations under the Baobab tree, surrounded by the garden, with a dance floor ready for the night ahead. ✨

There will be plenty of food options to suit different dietary requirements, just let us know in advance if you have any allergies or anything specific we should know.
