Chateau Pizay
Chateau Pizay is in the countryside an hour North of Lyon and 1.5 hours south of Dijon. There are some small hotels, bed and breakfasts or villa rentals close by. If you are staying a short time there is accommodation at Chateau Pizay or in the nearest town, Belleville, 4km from Pizay. This is a very small town with a few hotels and restaurants. We also recommend Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, a medieval town 20 minutes away that is very picturesque and has some great accommodation and activities. Macon is a 30 minute drive from Pizay and is a considerably larger town with more restaurants, hotels and train stations, but also more traffic and less parking.

Chateau Pizay is a 4 star Hotel and Spa in addition to being our Wedding venue. This may be the most convenient (though less economical option.)
Double rooms run approximate €279, though this amount is often lower throughout the year as rooms are released to expedia and other booking websites. If you would like to book at Chateau Pizay please let us know ASAP and we will do our best to get you the best rate. Booking early can save as much as €120 of the room rate.
