Steve Weisenberger
Groom Squad

Alan's second-oldest brother lives with his wife Dana and sons Eli, Griffin, and Liam in Laurel, MT. He is a geotechnical engineer for CHS (Cenex Harvest States) and luckily has projects in the Twin Cities area so he is able to visit us on a regular basis. They also like to golf, ski, fish, and lake-lounge when together.

Mike Weisenberger
Groom Squad

Alan's oldest brother Mike lives with his wife Katie and sons Owen, Andrew, and Mathew in Hutchinson MN. He is a middle school science teacher for the Hutchinson school district (since 1996!) and has been very involved in coaching sports for the high school. Although he is 7 years older than Alan, they have stayed close by enjoying mutual hobbies of snow skiing, golfing, fishing, and spending time at their parents’ lake house near Fergus Falls, MN.

Ben Beyer
Groom Squad

Ben Beyer and Alan grew up together in Richardton, ND. They have been close friends through college (he went to Jamestown, Alan went to NDSU in Fargo) and after college as they both have lived around the Twin Cities since graduation (way back in 2004-2005). He lives with his wife Kelly and their son Davin in Eden Prairie, MN. When they get together it usually involves watching football, grilling, eating, drinking, or having a backyard bonfire/barbecue. We all try to get together as much as possible to try out new restaurants and go to concerts.

Jeff Vogle
Groom Squad

Jeff Vogle and Alan met freshman year at NDSU. He grew up in Hebron which is close to Alan's hometown but they were “bitter” rivals in high school so they didn’t hang out much until college. Since then, they see each other regularly and enjoy going to breweries and the occasional sporting event. He lives in Farmington, MN with his wife Alicia, and children, Luke and Claire. He is a manager for Farmer’s Insurance.

Ralph Weisenberger
Father of the Groom

Ralph has been retired for several years from his job as president at Bremer Bank in Richardton, ND. He enjoys golfing, visiting the grandkids in Montana and Minnesota, and spending time at his and Sandy’s lake house ten minutes north of Fergus Falls, MN. Since retirement he has developed a new skill…bus driving! He drives part time for the Richardton school district and has even driven the big coach bus into downtown Minneapolis during the high school seniors’ school trip!

Sandy Weisenberger
Mother of the Groom

Sandy has recently retired but is as busy as ever with teaching piano lessons and filling in at the Taylor, ND school administrative office. She has taught piano lessons for 30 years and also plays piano accompaniment for school activities, choir competitions, and has been the church organist for as long as I can remember, so yeah, she’s pretty good. She also likes spending time at their MN lake house and visiting the grandkids. She is a great cook and without her I think most of our family would have starved to death years ago.
