Can't wait for you to be here!!!!!! It would be great for you to arrive no later than Friday, Jan 28th so you can explore the city with us and start all wedding festivities.                                           

We recommend to take some more time and come early, if possible, so you can see all the great things the city and surrounding areas offer.  Oaxaca is a beautiful city and there is so much to explore, check out the "Oaxaca" tab for more info!

We are planning to be in Oaxaca City,  January 25-31st.

Warm and sunny, daily highs increasing are typically 77°F to 80°F over the course of the month. It cools off in the evenings with daily lows from 42°F to 47°F.

Bring a good combination of spring/fall attire.  Light jacket may work for you to carry at night.  We will keep you all posted on the forecasted weather once we get close to the date.

Airlines flying into Oaxaca are:

- United Airlines
***Most flights with connecting flights in Mexico City and/or other major cities

United Airlines offers a direct flight with a higher price but shorter flight time.

Another great option is booking your flights separate to fly into Mexico City then to Oaxaca City.
*** Note: this option will require you to change terminal and check in/out on your own. Take enough time in between flights to ensure you make it in time to second flight.

Here is a list of hotels we were able to get a special rate. All hotels are a block away from the church, as well as, walking distance from the street to all restaurant and bars, plus lots of shopping. 

Hotels are also less than a block away from each other.  You can chose to stay here or choose to look for hotels or Airbnbs around the downtown Oaxaca.  

Built in 1576, Quinta Real Oaxaca is a beautiful historic hotel located on the site of the former Convent of Santa Catalina de Siena. You'll enjoy floral gardens and courtyards plus relaxing pool surrounded by culture and the sound of birds singing.

Uber is not available in Oaxaca

We recommend using taxi to travel to and from the airport. The usual rate is $150 pesos which is $8 dollars.
