Aditi and Gaurav’s union began with the most improbable of odds. They each lived on opposite sides of the country 3,000 miles apart- six months into a global pandemic, where travel was discouraged, and neither of them really believed in the concept of long distance. Despite all rational thought that was telling them to drop this connection , their hearts seemed to draw them closer together. All it would take was a right swipe on an online dating app, and the smallest spark of interest that would light a blazing fire for the next 18 months.
Since that time, they haven't stopped laughing together. They have navigated their long-distance relationship with a sense of adventure and excitement. They’ve been fortunate to go on trips together around each other’s coast, and have met a lot of the others’ dear friends who make their lives special. Most importantly, they’ve enjoyed every minute of each other’s company. Time has flown by and life has felt a lot lighter and hopeful, especially when together.
G proposed to Aditi on New Years Eve during a beautiful weekend getaway with some of their good friends in Connecticut, after he had respectfully sought the blessings of her father and older brother. Aditi was utterly surprised with the proposal and it was the best day of her life. There was no uncertainty when it came to the love and commitment they promised to each other that night.
