The Mahendra and Bhalla families cordially invite you to join us in celebrating the joyous union of Madhav and Aditee. We eagerly look forward to having each and every one of you become a cherished part of our celebrations. As many of you said when they got engaged (and we could not agree more) - finally!
Temperatures will hover around 20-25 degrees during the day but will dip later in the evening to around 8-10 degrees
About the Ceremony
For our international guests
The Mehendi Ceremony
Mehendi is an ancient form of body art, originating in India and is considered to be a sign of good luck. During the festivities, henna paste is used to apply intricate designs of decorative art to the bride's hands and feet. Female friends and relatives sit around the bride to have henna applied on their hands as well.
The Sangeet
The word 'sangeet' is synonymous with 'song.' This ceremony involves singing and dancing with the couple to celebrate the onset of their new journey together. Bring your dancing shoes.
The Hindu wedding ceremony is centered around the couple making seven vows to each other as they take seven 'pheras' or circles around the flame. Each phera represents a unique promise that the bride and groom vow to each other.
True love has no endings, only beginnings. Aditee and Madhav’s love story began in Mumbai nearly 6 years ago and has only strengthened since. Now as they embark on another new beginning we would be delighted if you could join in and share our joy as we celebrate their marriage on 16 & 17 December 2023 at the Sukhvilas, Chandigarh.
We would appreciate if you could access the link below and enter your arrival and departure details from Chandigarh. This will help us to arrange for airport transfers and plan check-ins at Sukhvilas.
International passport holders will require an e-visa to travel to India. The process is relatively simple with a turnaround time of 24-48 hours (often even less).
The fourth page of the form asks for a reference name and address in India. Please feel free to use the details below:
