Wedding vips
Bridesmaids
Kate Mostow
Kate Mostow
Maid of Honor
Kate and Rachel met during their first year of college at Slippery Rock University, as next door dorm neighbors. Soon, they became inseparable. They have bonded over movies, reading, Harry Potter and Doctor Who just to name a few things. Kate and Rachel lived together since their second year of college, and got an apartment together during their final year. After graduation despite living on either side of Pennsylvania their friendship has stayed strong and continued to do so as Rachel lived in Korea. They share fond memories of movie nights, trips to the Outer Banks, Universal Studios, long road trips, inside jokes, acting silly, and being able to study together while staying on task (for the most part.) We love Kate for her outgoing nature, her love and kindness for others, and the way she is able to encourage others to push their comfort zone and try new things. Kate is genuinely a deeply caring person and always an absolute joy to be around.
Emily Amond
Emily Amond
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Emily first met during the strenuous academic challenge of kindergarten, and have been best friends since. Through the years they were together in homerooms, gym classes, lab groups, and study halls. They spent many nights studying and working on assignments together, cooking together, (Emily made an entire Korean buffet before Rachel left for South Korea,) watching movies, and sharing music as well as bonding over a love of Hanson and grape juice. We love Emily for her wonderful sense of humor, big heart and kind demeanor, and her willingness to always lend a hand when someone is in need of help.
KatieJo Delisle
KatieJo Delisle
Bridesmaid
KatieJo and Rachel met during their time living and working as teachers in South Korea, as members of Seoul Covenant Church. Throughout their friendship they have bonded over many excursions across Seoul and Korea, their love of animals, countless lattes, movie nights, dinners, walks, serving in the church, and growing together in God’s word. We love KatieJo for her infectious smile, endless patience and understanding, her loving heart, and the joy she brings into the lives of others.
Anni Kenyon
Anni Kenyon
Bridesmaid
Anni and Rachel began their friendship once Rachel moved back to Pennsylvania, at Pioneer Presbyterian Church which is the church Rachel went to while growing up. Having studied the German language in college, Anni graciously helped Rachel learn and understand the basics of German. In the time between coming back to PA and moving to Germany they spent many study sessions/coffee dates and ice cream dates together, walked Rachel's basset hound Mason around Ligonier where he bravely ate a bee to protect both of them, they saw a pirates game, went to the zoo, and participated in bible studies and play games. Anni and her family were so kind as to invite Rachel over for dinner, when Anni's grandparents from Germany were visiting, where she learned how to make Schnitzel and ate red cabbage for the first time. We love Anni for her kind heart, unending patience, her ability to always be optimistic and remind others of God's love, control, and steadfastness, and her willingness to reach out and help when someone needs it.
Groomsmen
Jamie Lee
Jamie Lee
Best Man

One of Jamie and Sven's first memories is trying to get a robin to leave a wine shop, through this trying episode a bond of steel was forged. After that the sky was the limit (if climbing to the top of a windmill is considered the sky), they've laid floors together, watched awful horror movies, played numerous video games and have attended far too many wine tastings all made complete with a lot of friendly banter. We love Jamie for his willingness to help, his immense love for his family and the fact that he grew a beard to look his hero (Sven).

Carly Hudson
Carly Hudson
Grooms(wo)man

Carly and Sven began their epic journey together in a wine shop in Newbury, England. Their first Facebook memory is Sven stood in a pool of wine and Carly laughing at him, this is probably an apt depiction of their friendship. They've supported each other throughout the years by helping each other move house, drinking left over spirits so they don't have to be moved and finding it difficult the next day to move at all. It hasn't all been drunken debauchery though, they've explored cities, climbed a Gherkin, been to jail and so much more. We love Carly because she has such a huge heart, will do anything for her friends and is always ready with a dirty joke if it's needed or not.
