The best connections happen by chance. Although Andrew attended UNT and Yasmin attended TWU around the same time, they never met until Sunday, March 6, 2016. While attending brunch hosted by mutual friends, Jared and Alisha Chenevert, at Tacos and Tequila (TNT) a late Andrew sat in the only seat left, directly in Yasmin’s line of sight. Conflicting stories make it unclear who stared at who the entire time, but later conversations reveal that Andrew was intrigued.
Over the course of a month, they liked each other’s photos on Facebook but that was about it. But, after seeing an Instagram post Yasmin made while at Top Golf, Andrew made his move. He sent a DM explaining his love for golf. A few days later, on Sunday, April 3, 2016, the two met at Top Golf for their first date. This date initiated a fun loving friendship that morphed into a true Hollywood love story. They’ve been golfing together ever since.
After an amazing trip to Costa Rica, Yasmin thought they were meeting a group of friends for a vacation debrief over Sunday dinner...she was wrong. Andrew, with the help of his adorable daughter Sydney, delivered the sweetest, most genuine proposal on Sunday, June 10, 2018. It was perfect and, of course, she said yes.
Each of our relationship milestones have happened on a Sunday. It only makes sense to keep the tradition going. Join us for the culmination and the first Sunday of the rest of our lives. On Sunday, May 26th we will say I Do.
