Alexis & Andrew

Both Lexi and Andrew's sisters played softball at UMD together in 2014. After many Bulldog softball games and a few Facebook messages between the two, a couple years later their relationship began! 

Andrew quickly began spending many weekends up at St. Ben's in St. Joe with Lexi during their first year of dating. He quickly got roped into many costume parties, wild nights, and weekends full of different activities! 

Lexi returned to Ham Lake after graduation and the couple took advantage of living so close together again. Weekends were filled with Twins games, watching our siblings get married, state fair, trying to become golfers, and any other wild athletic adventure the Wright family brought Lexi along to. 

In 2019 the two took on a new adventure and moved into their first apartment in Sartell, MN. Shortly after, Kobe the Aussiedoodle joined their lives and they both quickly fell in love with him! They have now bought Kobe a nice backyard (and house) in Big Lake, MN! 

Lexi and Andrew were spending a weekend in Bayfield, WI. After spending the day riding mopeds around Madeline Island, they took a sunset hike to view the Apostle Islands. Lexi found a 'short cut' that led to walking through mud and sticks in flip flops on a 90 degree day. They finally made it to the end of the hike and as Lexi was looking out at the views, Andrew was behind her waiting on one knee to ask her to spend the rest of her life with him. 

Over the past 5 years, our lives have been crazy between school, internships, jobs, a couple surgeries, and just the normal day-to-day busyness. We both fell in love with the idea of being able to get away from the craziness to celebrate our marriage and make it fully about us starting our lives together as husband and wife. Once we found Hawkesdene, we both knew this is where we would get married and begin our forever!
