
First there was darkness, then there was light, then there was the Ramp Champ.
Born on a cold wintery day on March 4, 1987, the paths of both the Champ and one Fiona Wong would converge a mere 27 years later and irrevocably change the course of both of their lives forever.

It really was one of the most nerve racking days of my life! I spent all day feeling the ring burn a hole in my pocket....literally. The ring fell through a hole in my pocket into the inner lining of my jacket at the most inopportune time and I missed the moment.
Have no fear however. Thinking quickly,I forced Fiona to march up the steps of the Eiffel tower only to have her complain about how terrible it was up there, how cold, how dark, how crowded, how utterly damp it was....AND two other couples had beat me there. There was literally a line for where guys can stand and wait for their turn to propose. All seemed lost...
Luckily! When we got back down, the lights came on and I mustered the courage and well...the rest is history....
