Join us at the stunning Lourensford Wine Estate to witness the blessing of our nuptials and enjoy an evening of love, joy, and happiness.

We will start with the wedding ceremony, followed by photo opportunities with a professional photographer for the wedding party and guests, and an hour of cocktails and canapes. We will end with the wedding reception, dinner, and dancing, until the early hours of the morning.

The ceremony will start at 1:00 PM sharp.

On the day of the wedding, we will provide a free coach service from Cape Town City for guests travelling from overseas only. The coach will collect guests from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town in the morning, and return them later that night.

Join us the day after the wedding (if you're not too hung over) for brunch at the Ginja Restaurant located in the V&A Hotel, in Cape Town.

This chic restaurant offers a wholesome and delicious menu, with a wide variety of options from a range of cuisine styles – from risottos, to wraps, seafood, salads and sandwiches. There is also a list of dishes especially for children. The décor makes use of organic textures in wood, stone and textiles in muted natural colours, and this is enhanced by accents of metal and clever, ambient lighting.

Please note, this will be an additional cost to you and there will be no transportation provided for this event.

Join us for a traditional South African Braai at the Burgess Family Home, located in the beautiful but windy town, Betty's Bay.

Betty's Bay has many popular attractions, including Stony Point Penguin Colony Entrance, Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens, and Betty's Bay Main Beach, which you are more than welcome to explore while you're there.

We will be providing a Traditional South African Spit Braai, with enough food to feed a village, so be prepared to eat!

This event will be fully catered by us for you. This is to say thank you for attending our wedding, and for all of us to get to know each other a little better.

Franschhoek Wine Tram - The Hop-on Hop-off Experience

The Hop-on Hop-off Experience, allows you to do just that – hop on and off the tram as you like, experiencing the different activities on offer, be it wine tasting, a cellar tour, lunch or just a stroll through the vineyards. And when you’re ready, simply hop-on to continue your journey.

Bookings open to adults and kids (kids under three go free).
The trams depart between 08:45am & 13:00pm (check the terminal of departure for the specific line).
Visit a number of wine estates over the course of a day. We suggest 3-4 wineries when starting with one of the earlier departures.
Includes a narration focusing on the history of Franschhoek and wine cultivation in the valley.

We want you to have the freedom to explore the sites at your own pace. There is no pressure to travel as a single group, so it will be a very relaxed tour which will allow you to stay in a particular place for longer or shorter depending on you preferences.

A tour of the Cape Peninsula is a great opportunity to explore Cape Town’s unique cultural and wilderness heritage. 

The Cape Peninsula, or Cape Point, situated on the South Westerly tip of Africa, has much to offer. We will organise a Cape Peninsula Tour for fabulous scenery at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope via Chapman’s Peak drive, one of the most scenic drives in the world and offers a beautiful overview of the Peninsula. Visit one of only two land based breeding colonies of African Penguins at Boulders beach and return back to Cape Town via the False Bay coastline. The whole route is very picturesque travelling along the Atlantic Seaboard and the False Bay coastline.

We will provide a free coach service for the whole tour. The coach will collect guests from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town in the morning, and return them later that evening.
