Here is how it really happened. June 2019. (I already knew Jacob from earlier that year. We didn’t talk much ..but still knew of each other) Anyways, a mutual friend was giving a talk at a meeting and he invited me. So I came to support, and Jacob also attended. We all went out to eat at a restaurant after that, and I sat next to a friend, who was also sitting at the table with Jacob. And yeah I know he’s going to tell you that I was trying to sit next to him. But he definitely sat down after I did. Anyways, it wasn’t long before I was laughing and joking with him. I realized he was super cool and funny. He was so amazed by my charm, I’m sure. So we exchanged numbers. A few weeks after that, I remember talking on the phone with him for the first time for 5 hours! Which was out of character for me. I enjoyed it a lot. So a few months later, some friends were having something and wanted me to come through. Jacob was going to be there and he made sure to tell me he wanted me to come. Now at this moment, I had a feeling that he was going to try to make a move. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, just that he made me nervous. I came..and I dodged him for most of the night. At the end of the night, he pulled me to the side and he told me straight up what his intentions were with me. And how he wanted to get to know me more. He wasn’t playing NO games, you hear me?! I was shocked and it was attractive lol. So you know what I did? The next day I gave myself a pep talk, and told myself to get it together. Thats what I did..and now a year and many months later, I get to marry my best friend.

January 2019 is the actual time I connected with Andrea through a mutual friend. We had a great conversation , and Andrea seemed like a really cool person from the beginning. Then, we reconnected in June 2019 at a friends public talk. We all went out to eat after the talk, and Andrea saw me at the restaurant. I think that’s were she fell in love with me, lol because she ran to come sit next to me at the table lol. We ate, talked,and laughed then we exchanged numbers. I got a little barbecue sauce on her dress and she didn’t even make a big deal about, which stood out to me. After that day at the restaurant, I was wanting to know more about her so we kept the conversation going as friends for a few months. Yeah I did tell her what my intentions were that night at the party, and I hoped that’s what she wanted too. After that, I really had time to get to know Andrea as a person, really see who she was and it felt like we known each for years. We immediately had a connection, right off. When the time was right I was ready to ask her to be my girlfriend, propose to her, and the rest is history.
