The story of our engagement started just a month after my dinner dance in 2019. I asked Abby if she would fly across the country after Christmas to meet me in Colorado, and let’s just say she was my NYE kiss that year in Breckenridge. Fast forward 2 years and her and I go back again and as we are skiing there the first day, Abby suffered a major ACL tear! Yeah that was a lot of luggage to carry that trip but 2 more years later I couldn’t let that trip spoil that sentimental place, so I flew out her friends, my friends, and a photographer to witness the scariest day of my life of asking for her hand forever and to be my wife. And well… “she said yes”
After a few months of rekindling our friendship, Nick asked me to be his +1 to his Local 66 Union Ball on November 16th, 2019. We had gone our separate ways the prior four years despite having a brief relationship in 2015, but once we reconnected we knew it was meant to be! This night at the Union Ball was where we begun officially dating again and have been ever since!
We bought our first home together in New Jersey in August of 2023
