Travel Information
We have mentioned some important information about travelling to India in the below section. Please feel free to email or whatsapp our wedding planner team to ask for any additional information or assistance needed in making any travel arrangements all over India.
We recommend all our international travellers to fly in to either Delhi or Mumbai and book an internal domestic flight to Udaipur Maharana Pratap Airport from one of these cities.
If you do not have an Indian OCI, please start the application process for a visa. Currently the e-visa is unavailable for British citizens, therefore you will need to apply for a regular/paper visa via an appointment at the Indian Visa Application Centre or Indian Mission. However, guests travelling in from Kenya and Australia can still apply for an e-visa.
The process can take a few weeks to complete, so please start the application as soon as possible and let us know if we can assist in any way.
Here is a link to the Visa website and here are the steps to take:
https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/
1. Fill and Submit a Visa Application Form Online
2. Book an appointment at one of the Visa Application Centres (ideally the earliest appointment of the day to avoid the queues)
3. Visit the Centre and attend your scheduled appointment - take along your printed application and documents, including your Passport
4. Have your Passport & Visa posted to your address or you can collect it from the Visa office
Note: There is a new Visa Office opened up in Marylebone with appointments available, please book as soon as possible to avoid any delays over the Christmas Period
