Depending on who you ask, you may get two different stories about how we first met. However, we do agree that God was at work behind the scenes to bring us together.
Donald and I first met at a wedding several years ago and became friends. We lost contact over the years but reconnected during my trip to Orlando for a conference. Although we have not spoken in a few years, we connected on so many levels and it was as if we never skipped a beat.
His love for God, his family, giving heart, kindness, and special personality (LOL!) are his most attractive qualities to me. Donald has a servant’s heart and is always willing to assist his fellow man. We have a blast wherever we go, even if it’s nowhere but to watch TV, play board games, or have a dance off. Our love has grown tremendously and I look forward to spending the rest of my time on Earth with him.

Once upon a time, there was a handsome prince who was actively searching for true love. He knew that one day she would appear. Far far away in fairyland of Orlando he came across a beautiful princess that with just one look made his heart skip a beat.
In his amazement, his voice began to shift with anxiousness because he knew that heaven had definitely misplaced one of its beautiful angels. This angel couldn’t resist the handsome smile of the prince along with his physique. They began to set out on an adventure together in hopes of one day being joined to the hip in Holy Matrimony. Now, on July 21st both of their dreams shall come true.

Our first date was one of the most exciting days of my life. We went to Mango's Tropical Cafe in Orlando, FL. To my surprise, we were attending a Michael Jackson Tribute Dinner Show. As many of you know, Michael Jackson is my all time favorite entertainer. The night was filled with great food, a lot of laughs, and dancing. We all know whose the better dancer.

Late one evening the prince and the princess were having a lovely movie night in the midst of their home. Over the stars glimmers of happiness appeared in their eyes as they looked at one another. The prince knew he had found the one and was so over joyed he couldn’t wait another day without asking his true love’s hand in marriage. So, he kindly asked his love to bring him an orange.
While she was away performing the tasks at hand, the prince quickly removed the diamond ring from his pocket and slipped it under his tongue. When the princess returned with the fruit and stretched her arm out to feed the prince a piece…. The ring appeared from the prince's mouth and she was astonished. Completely shocked she began to have tears of joy and said yes to the prince's proposal. And so, they set out on their journey to make a life together.
To be Continued…….
