Trina and Tim

Our story begins in Nepal! Trina was enjoying some extended travels before buckling down for medical school. Tim was doing his own traveling on an indefinite break from his legal career. We happened to take the same week-long trip to Jumla and Rara Lake in western Nepal, where we immediately hit it off. It was hard not to feel the romance under the shadows of majestic mountains! 

Trina headed back to the US in early 2018 - giving Tim a very good reason to head back himself. As Tim settled in to a new job in Chicago, Trina returned to San Francisco, worked on her applications, and got in to a school in Phoenix. We did 2 years of long-distance, with countless hours of facetime and occasional fun vacations! 

Shutdown and remote work let us be together sooner than expected, as Tim planned a special camping trip for after Trina's 1st year finals. As soon as we arrived, Tim rushed to hike to a sunset spot. Trina was tired from her tests and a long drive, but she begrudgingly agreed (this behavior was not unusual for Tim and did not tip Trina off). Too short on time to make it to the "Lover's Leap" viewpoint, Tim brought Trina to the still-fortuitous "Prospect Point," where he proposed!!

Now in Chicago, we are two-years legally married (*which we hardly announced - we consider April 2023 to be our REAL wedding). And we recently welcomed Zuko, the chillest and most loving pup ever, into our family. We are thrilled to host a wedding here and for whatever else is to come!
