Places to stay
As accommodation is limited at the venue, we scouted around and found a few B&B's and Guest House's for you to choose from.
As this is a small town with few options and it's during the holidays, we suggest that you book as soon as possible.
If you are stying in Lydenburg, the shuttle service will be operating to and from the venue at allocated times (TBC)

Mpumalanga:
Do I need to take malaria pills when travelling to Mpumalanga or the game lodges/Kruger Park area?
No, this is not a malaria area. That being said, there is nothing more irritating than a mosquito bite so do have a repellent such as Peaceful Sleep handy.
If travelling to the Kruger, we recommend that you do take malaria medication.
Johannesburg:
Is Johannesburg safe?
Like any big city, you need to be vigilant. When walking around shopping areas, don't look like a tourist with camera's, mobile phones etc. in plain sight you will just attract trouble.
If you are going to drive around in a hired car, keep windows closed and doors locked, day and night. Keep valuables in the boot of the car.
How do I get around, is there public transport?
Please see section on transport.
If you are planning on staying in Johannesburg for a few nights, there are many options available. Here are a few suggestions for accommodation that are located close to where we are in Parkhurst.
