We were engaged on a beautiful and warm summer day on July 13, 2019 in Washington D.C. The proposal happened in the Bishop's Garden of the National Cathedral. It was reminiscent of the architecture of our first international trip to Portugal and reminded us of a place we both hold in special regard.
The proposal was long overdue but was a complete surprise..(a very difficult task to accomplish with Tina!). But tears flowed, smiles were abound... and we were both overjoyed to start the process of spending the rest of our lives together.
