What started as a romantic picnic in Torquay quickly let to an afternoon of Courtney cracking the sads and non-stop complaining before Tom thought he'd take her breath away and stop the complaining by getting on one knee.
After a picnic in Torquay, we took a drive to Aireys Inlet and Tom thought it would be a great idea to walk up to the lighthouse. Now everyone who knows Courtney, knows this isn't her idea of fun but begrudgingly up she went, complaining the whole way mind you. "I'm not wearing the right shoes! It's hot! I don't want to!" were just a few of the phrases uttered.
To try and slow down Tom who was marching up the hill Courtney stalled by going into one of the lookouts to take some photos. While she was looking out at the glorious view, little did she know that behind her Tom was getting down on one knee with the most beautiful emerald cut engagement ring.
Tears flowed and a resounding yes rang out. Back to the car to call their friends and family and then the celebrations began!
