Jennifer and David

Jennifer and David first met during their first few weeks in Dallas, Texas, in 2018, after connecting via the miracles of modern technology and a few rightward swipes.  When they first met, Jennifer had just completed her first day of work at her medical practice (but did not tell David it was the end of her first day...) and David was in the first few weeks of  his new role in aerospace manufacturing.   It was cold and rainy throughout their first date, and David made Jennifer walk in the rain because he parked in the wrong garage, and David felt fortunate to advance to a second date.  Jennifer may be the doctor, but during their first date, David diagnosed the pain in Jennifer's foot from running and explained the best way to rehab her injury.  Jennifer was impressed.  

Over the next few months, Jennifer and David explored their new city, watched the Red Sox win the World Series, and enjoyed all Dallas has to offer.    Jennifer and David experienced many ups and downs as their careers developed; Jennifer grew her practice and David transitioned to a new adventure in the world of consulting.  

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic brought them closer together as they foraged for toilet paper, went on many walks, enjoyed many streaming series, and cooked meals for the week.  The pandemic provided a unique opportunity to work together and adapt to uncertainty, and despite all the challenges, Jennifer and David grew closer than ever.  

When the time came to propose, David leveraged his engineering skills to build a small shelf under the kitchen table, which he used to hide the ring.  Under the auspices of "let's have a fun time cooking at home tonight," the couple prepared a delightful pasta and bolognese dinner, finished with a diamond for dessert.  

We can't wait to celebrate with you in Dallas!
