During my time at FAU, I was attending a gathering for our friend Kamal's birthday and a bunch of us got together at his house party. A couple songs later, I was in the arms of a handsome gentleman named Widlin for the rest of the night. The rest is history from the night of October 7, 2011.-Marjorie
I began attending FAU in the Fall of 2010. After a couple of semesters, Marjorie and I became friends and then classmates. Through our rigorous studying, the friendship grew into a relationship, and I cannot say she was tired of studying with me ;)

Our first date was at "Cream" in Delray Beach where we enjoyed frozen yogurt together. We spent all evening getting to know each other and eating delicious frozen yogurt. We conversed into deep conversation. All I could wrap my head around was the thought that someone so amazing had come into my life. You expect nothing, but suddenly right in front of you is everything you ever needed.

With the help of my family and friends, I planned the proposal during my graduate summer internship at Cornell University. Marjorie and I were visiting Tallahassee for our friend Martine's white coat ceremony. We drove back to Lehigh Acres that day and I surprised her with a proposal with our families and closest friends. #MW227

Adassah is my best friend from college. Freshman year, our first encounter was in the cafeteria and the Lord identified from there it was a match made in heaven. We have literally gone through it all together. From IRT, to the surprise road trips, to the late night shenanigans we lived through it all. Frandeline is my soon to be sister in law. We meshed since day one! She is more than just a sister in law; she is like a little sister. She welcomed me in with open arms from the start. Melisa is my go-to. When I need that person to keep it real and will give it to me 100 I can count on MeliSLAY! She is my second opinion for practically anything I am indecisive about. We share the habit of being simple with a hint of slay. Forever grateful for our endless friendship. #OriginalDay1
Shirley and I have known each other through college. It all began in Konbit Kreyol from dance troupe, along with our time on the executive board together, and to being my line brother in Alpha Kappa Psi. Our friendship is one like no other! #G6
Barbara was the first person I met in college. The memoirs of our HPT dorm days, to our financial aid reimbursement shopping sprees, our time on Konbit Kreyol's e-board together, and the list could go on. Barbara is a prime example of when friends become family. #GoldenGirl
Ruthena, my dramatic soul. Since our first introduction at the Harmonik Bal to editing Konbit Kreyol executive board pictures, we were destined to be friends. Growing up in the same city of Naples, but attending two different high schools FAU brought us together, and our friendship is everlasting. #OriginalDay1
Byanca truthfully embodies that a day without laughter is a day wasted. From our first encounter at Oaks of Boca we will never forget that one spring break she came and never left Boca after that! It has been history ever since. #OriginalDay1
Natisna is my cousin on my mom's side. We have shared countless memories and hilarious encounters over the years. From our McDonald's drive thru moments, to my dad’s “who you or who’s this” scenario, and to our infamous PMW days. I love you TUTU aka Na2!
Sister of the Bride. Kela is the oldest of the three sisters. Her sassiness and bold attitude are what makes us connect in so many ways. She is the life of the party and can always turn a dull moment into a lively one.
