Travelling
Flights
The nearest airport to the wedding venue is Humberto Delgado Airport otherwise simply known as Lisbon airport. It is approximately 15 minutes drive from the airport to the venue.
Getting around Lisbon
There are a number of options for getting around Lisbon. These include: renting a car, train, tram, bus, ferry & taxi/uber/bolt.

Most of our hotel recommendations are in & around the Bairro Alto area, which is approximately 15 minutes drive to the wedding venue.
The wedding will finish at 02:00 AM. There are usually night buses every hour. Alternatively if you are not driving, you will need to prearrange a taxi or call an uber/bolt or equivalent alternative.
Many of the recommended restaurants & places to see, as well as getting to our welcome drinks in Caparica will probably be easiest to travel to by renting a car. Should you wish to do so, here are a few recommendations for your convenience:

We recommend visiting Pasteis de Belem to try their traditional Portuguese custard tarts. A little tip - don't wait outside where the queues are. Walk straight to the back of the café and they will seat you ;)
Time out Market is also a great place to have lunch.
