After years of having a strong desire to marry the right person (along with prayer, patience, and faith) we found what we believed to be our perfect match in each other in August 2019.
From the first laughter filled phone conversation (as if we had encountered a childhood best friend) to the moment we met face-to-face, we knew "this" was something different that would finally work out long term.
Starting new chapters in our careers brought with them a wider physical distance between us. But this presented the opportunity for us to seek understanding of what we genuinely wanted in our lives and of each other.
During a necessary extended visit in Arkansas, we knew it was meant to be simply because we still had a strong desire to be with one another and set aside our differences. Ultimately realizing communication was key and that our love had proven to be stronger than ever.
One Friday evening, after Zephrin’s surgery, an impromptu lakeside photoshoot was the backdrop for the proposal...unbeknownst to Keshonda. Secretly videoing the moment, Zephrin (the most handsome, thoughtful, genuine, ambitious, sexiest man on the planet) dropped down on his knees and asked Keshonda (the most beautiful, gorgeous, sexiest, smartest, “let me process it” woman in the world) to marry him.
Of course, she said yes!
