Our adventure began in 2016 at the University of South Florida. It was just by coincidence we had met due to a perfect alignment of classes. Through our involvement with the societies on campus, it's a surprise we didn't meet sooner! One question turned into multiple, then it became our first date. Now, as we prepare for our special day, we would like to tell you all about a few of our memories with each other. Jenna: I will never forget my first birthday that we celebrated together. I was so excited to be able to celebrate it with Carlos and do something spontaneous. Let me start off with how I love practical gifts. Most gifts that I get I like to be able to put to use so that it doesn't just sit around. I have told Carlos that multiple times and he definitely took it literally. As a birthday gift, he got my my first pair of steel toe boots and a pair of insoles for them. I must say, it was the perfect gift because I still have them and use them for work!
After college graduation, I got a job at Firestone in Kentucky. Carlos decided for me that I was going to take the job and he was coming with me (once he makes up his mind, there's no convincing otherwise!!). Fast forward almost 2 years later, 1 job move for Carlos, and a LOT of movement and change, we are finally together! 2020 has been rough so far for us both but if we can get through this, we can conquer anything!
