Travel & Accommodations
Happy to be back in San Antonio, Texas

Keeping each other Safe and Healthy

We know some guests have concerns about the health risks of traveling and may choose not to attend. Zach and I completely understand that decision and appreciate your love and support. With the move to our hometown, San Antonio, hopefully fewer have to travel and many can drive instead of fly.   

Keep in mind, masks are required in Texas and San Antonio. 

Accommodations - Room Block

Westin Riverwalk

420 W Market Street San Antonio, Texas

Guest rooms are available starting at $130 per night + taxes and fees.  Valet parking $43/day . Self Parking available at the parking garage across the street - $25 per day.  

Be sure to check and adjust your dates. The hotel has generously allowed extra days in case you'd like to vacation while in beautiful San Antonio!

Book no later than August 11th deadline for the room block. Standard rates are still excellent!

We recently learned that the hotel restaurants and room service are closed. Our apologies.   All I can say is covid craziness. There are tons of other restaurants and bars a short stroll down San Antonio's beautiful Riverwalk. Enjoy!

Hotel rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and sealed for each guests arrival.

Dress for Hot August Summer

Plan on dressing lightly in fabrics such as linen, cotton, and silk. The temperatures will likely be close to 100. We don’t want to exchange virus illness for heat exhaustion. Drink water constantly! Thankfully, COVID virus travel less in the hot humid air.

Social Distancing Restrictions - approx 70 guests

Because of the 6 foot social distancing & family groupings requirements approximately 70 guests will be admitted to the church.  While we love you all and want you to share our joy, we completely understand if you simply join us for the reception.

As of now, we must limit guests to bridal party, bridal party plus ones, and family.  Masks are required in the church. We will have masks available.

Shuttle buses offered

Take advantage of the free shuttle bus. It's a 45 minute drive from the central city to the venue, the roads are dark and windy in the country. We want everyone to have a great time and no one to drink and drive. Join the shuttle to be safe.

We've ensured that this venue is large enough to spread out for social distancing and that all safety precautions are taken.

The parking lot for Biga on the Banks is in a catty corner to the restaurant at the Alamo 1 Building. The restaurant would like to emphasize that it is imperative for you to bring your parking stub inside so they can validate it and parking will be free.
