Maid of Honor & Sister of the Bride
“Mary and I have known each other for about 20 years. She is truly the wind beneath my wings and my biggest cheerleader. I used to steal her clothes every chance I got, unfortunately I am now a foot taller than her, but I still try. She’s a feisty one, and I take after her for sure and she never fails to make me laugh or cry depending on the conversation. I never want her to leave my side, but if she’s leaving me to be with kyle, I guess I am okay with that. I hope one day I am lucky enough to have the love that they share. Good luck, Kyle! You’ll need it! She’s like a freight train from hell”

"Mary and I were forced to meet. Being from a small town, our parents were convinced we would just automatically like each other. While we fought this idea for years, we finally caved in while riding the bench in JV soccer, leaving us inseparable. Since then, we have gone to college together, lived in Richmond together and seen each other through every rise and fall. Mary has a heart of gold and a faith that can move mountains. I could not be more excited to stand by her side as she marries her match...the only guy I’ve seen who can actually keep up."

"Mary and I first met when we we became founding members of the Gamma Phi Beta chapter at James Madison University. While navigating the big changes of starting college, Mary effortlessly took on the roll of becoming my Big sister in our sorority. We studied completely different things in school but had a routine of always getting lunch and catching each other up. We easily bonded over our love for black clothing and rival hockey teams which led to multiple trips to DC for Capitals/Penguins games (even during finals). People looked at us like we were crazy but our answer to why we could stand to sit next to each other was “we’re sisters”. Although Mary graduated after my sophomore year and we only spent two years together at JMU, she became the bigger sister I needed."

"Mary and I met in college. We were in the same sorority and we were all finding out who our twins were going to be. We popped our balloons, saw each others names, and were instant friends! We both moved away after college and lost touch for about a year until when we ran into each other at the mall in Richmond (shocker that we were both there) and ended up becoming close friends again and even living together!"
