A non-refundable* deposit of $200 per room is due to secure your room. If you aren't sure of your occupancy, it's fine. Placing the deposit secures the room and we have flexibility to add or remove travelers up until 60 days prior to travel.

Refunds
You are responsible to file a claim to receive your refund with the insurance company. We will provide documentation if needed.

To avoid the single occupancy premium we suggest you bring a guest. Single occupancy incurs roughly a 50-100% premium increase for 1 adult in a room.

***IMPORTANT: If you would like to travel outside the indicated range or extend your stay at another resort. Our team will gladly set you up with a packaged itinerary and even handle transportation in between!

To be considered part of the wedding group, you must book through the group rates and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel).

We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible for our bride and groom.

Additional fees will apply to visit the resort or come to wedding related events should you book off property and due to covid this option may not be available at all.

The pre-negotiated rates include hotel accommodations, hotel tax and fees, housekeeping and bellman gratuities.
Room categories are available on a first come, first serve basis within the block.

• IMPORTANT: To book at these rates you are REQUIRED to stay a minimum of 3 nights.
• Rates are available 3 days pre/post the room block dates of October 5th- 11th. (based on availability)
• Any changes must be done in writing and changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed.
• Changes made within 14 days of travel will incur a $25 fee.
• Last minute bookings within 21 days of travel will incur a $150 fee.

Vagablonde Travel offer optional travel protection with Travel Insured International.

Rates will vary per person depending on your age, state, total value of your trip, and if you elect for the Cancel for Any Reason benefit.

The average cost of your travel protection is about 6-10% of the total trip cost so it's a great investment!

You must add insurance within 21 days of booking if you want the Cancel For Any Reason Policy.

The office will send your quote within 72 hours of you paying your deposit. This email will not be from Vagablonde Travel, it will be from Travel Insured International.

Please check your junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox within 72 hours of you paying your deposit. If you are beyond 21 days after deposit you cannot add the Cancel For Any Reason benefit.

Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is non-refundable.

This quote will only cover your resort portion. If after purchasing your policy, you buy your air, you can add them to your current policy.

Once you book your flights, send our office your itinerary. Please make sure the title has FLIGHTS DYE + BARRACLOUGH WEDDING in the subject line.

Unless otherwise requested, our office will try to group wedding guests together to bring down the per person cost. We offer competitive rates with roundtrip private vans and once we have a completed group manifest we will share per person rates! Transportation is not included in the room rate, you will be invoiced for this separately around a month prior to your departure.

Closest airport to the resort is Cancun International (CUN).

We recommend booking your flights as early as you can.
Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them.
You may book it via your favorite airline or allow us to do so for a small fee of $39. However, there is no guarantee that we have better flight prices than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee we are contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if we do not have a contract with a specific airline, such as Spirit Airlines or Frontier. We are also not able to use credit card points or miles towards your flight.

• Cancellations made after deposit is paid that have not purchased insurance will incur a $200 per room penalty.

• Cancellations made after May 25, 2022 that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 50% of the room total.

• Cancellations made after June 24, 2022 that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 75% of the room total.

• Cancellations made after July 21, 2022 that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 100% of the room total.

• Cancelled air tickets are valid for one year from original ticket issue date.

WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! A passport is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and Mexico - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date.

I FOUND A CHEAPER PRICE ONLINE, CAN YOU MATCH IT?
We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of Vagablonde Travel please allow us an opportunity to price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated in the block at the resort for accountability and organization for the staff. To expedite the process, please take a dated screen shot of what you found. It must include the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on.

DO I NEED A COVID TEST?
At this time, no testing is required to enter Mexico however the CDC announced on January 26th that a negative test is required to re enter the US.
Secrets will provide complimentary testing at the resort. Should you test positive, the resort will also offer a complimentary stay for up to 2 weeks for you to quarantine. This is fluid and ever changing. The resort does have the ability to drop this at any point, if this happens, we will give you options for your return test.

DOES MY INSURANCE COVER COVID OR THE PANDEMIC?
COVID is considered a sickness and will be categorized as such. For further questions regarding the insurance policies we suggest you call the company direct after you receive your quote. They are specialist and we just offer their product.
