Zip car
How to get around Vancouver?
For those who are traveling internationally, please take note that Vancouver is not well-known for public transportation. However, we’ve tried our best to get things close to the skytrain & public buses. Uber & Lyft are currently coming to Vancouver (but facing some legal issues...so let's keep our fingers crossed). One good way to get around though is we have a car-pooled system like Zipcar & Modo (which cost like $50/day) which might help you. Please also note that you’ll need an international driving license in order to drive in Vancouver.
For guest who are already in Vancouver, please note that there is parking at UBC (although can be quite pricey). If you want to avoid this, please feel free to use the B-line or 84 bus coming in from downtown.
