Robin and Scanners' friendship first started in sixth form, when, sat next to each other in AS level Chemistry, they both realised what a stupid mistake they had both made in picking it as a subject. To console themselves, they would blast out Led Zeppelin at full volume every morning (with the windows down) from Robin's white 1995 VW Polo as they drove to school. For their efforts in trying to improve the school's taste in music, Robin was rewarded with a D in Chemistry, with Scanners scoring an even more impressive 'Ungradeable'.
