Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

In this village in the heart of Provence, you’ll find all the charm of a typically Provencal way of life. You’ll soon be strolling along the boulevards under the shade of century-old plane trees.

Wander around the narrow little streets, discovering squares where fountains play, and the attractive boutiques and art galleries that make the town’s historic centre so lively.

Sit outside at one of the many cafes and restaurants, enjoying their welcome while you refresh yourself with a drink or try the country cooking based on local products.

Les Baux-de-Provence

Les Baux-de-Provence is a very picturesque Medieval village at a fortified rocky site between Arles and St Remy-de-Provence. Les Baux is well worth visiting, for the ancient village, the extensive fortified-chateau area, the magnificent setting and views, and the museums.

Here you can also see the incredible Carrières de Lumières; this is a former quarry that is currently projecting Vincent Van Gogh's work in an interactive way. Definitely worth a visit!

Wine Tasting

Being in Provence, there are any number of opportunities to get involved with tasting the wines from the region and particularly the Provencal Rosé. Near to the wedding venue, we would recommend Domaine de Valdition.
The Château de Romanin is also near to St Remy.

Saint Tropez & Cannes

To continue your trip to France,  you may like to continue further down south.

The beautiful Saint-Tropez is a coastal town on the French Riviera, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. Long popular with artists, the town attracted the international "jet set" in the 1960s, and remains known for its beaches and nightlife. The town is a 2 hour drive from the wedding venue. We also recommend the town of Saint Raphael (Hotel Les Roches Rouges) slightly further down the coast.
