Back in 2019, Dan and Sonam matched on the dating app Bumble. They exchanged a few message and soon after went out on their first date at The Haven JP. After a few laughs, and some terrible french fries (which only added to the laughter), they were happy to go on a 2nd date, even though Dan did have one fault, he was New England sports fanatic.
A second date turned into many more, even though Sonam was a fan of all things NJ and she still hates Boston. The following 4 years were filled with dates, trips, and adventures. From accidentally hiking on the wrong trail in Bar Harbor, to getting lost driving around the streets of Montreal, their adventures have often had unexpected turns, but they've enjoyed every minute of them.
Then on a chilly February morning, they made their way down to the Seaport in Boston to order some coffee (cold brews despite the weather and Sonam's hatred for the cold) and enjoy the weekend. But things went from a normal morning to a lifelong memory soon thereafter. Dan proposed while the two of them were walking along the waterfront and the rest is history!
