Andy's parents Stephen and Mary Theresa on their wedding day - a prerequisite to Andrew Stephen Exley's appearance in the world
smith origins
Meg's parents Michael and Kate on their wedding day - some time later, they opened their home and adopted Megan Florine Smith
Andy is the youngest of two siblings
He was a very smiley baby!
Meg is the oldest of three siblings, and really, really liked cake. Take that, Allie Brosh.
Andy and Ben had a lot of fun growing up together...
... causing lots of trouble...
... playing with cousins ...
... and with friends.
Meg really enjoyed building things with dirt...
... Legos...
... Construx...
... and, apparently, planning to run away equipped with a bag of Legos and a case of Construx.
We both loved to swing...
... it was the best, ever.
Meg's family was smaller, but she did get a younger brother, Tim...
... loved hanging out, watching old horror films with Aunt Kathy ....
... loved grandpa Jim...
... and really enjoyed being squished by older cousins when our families got together.
We were both into superman pajamas...
...
... winter sports...
...
... fishing...
...
... hanging out with family...
...
... (that ring should look familiar if you are viewing this on the app)...
...
...
... and music...
Then we grew up and started going to dances...
...
... heading off to college...
... making new nerdy friends...
...
... staying fairly outdoorsy despite our nerdy tendencies...
...
... and getting into frisbee, which is how we met! frisbee has been a big part of our lives...
... we even had a fellow frisbee played crash our first date at the CC Club, asking questions that forced us to awkwardly acknowledge that it was, indeed, a date. thanks Dave!
In the 5 years we've been together, we have bought a house...
... travelled to Boracay...
... visited Japan...
... tried our best to be sufficiently bad influences on our first niece and nephew...
... and have played a LOT of frisbee.
In the midst of the polar vortex, on February 1, 2014...
... we got married at the Conservatory, flash-mob style (just ask...). It was a very small, short ceremony - just what we had hoped for. We wrote our own vows and ceremony.
Our officiant may have been better dressed than either of us... and was almost sequestered by another simultaneous (but authorized) wedding that was going on on the other end of the Conservatory...
... but he escaped, and we got hitched with immediate family as witnesses.
On August 2, 2014, we would like to celebrate the union of our lives with friends and family, in a mix of traditional and non-traditional ways. Thank you for considering attending - we hope you can make it!

(ps. per request, we added more embarrassing photos hereafter - view if thus inclined)
