Anilkumar Jhaveri
Father of the Groom

Anilkumar moved to Canada about 40 years ago after marrying Diptiben. In that time, he has not changed how early he shows up to the airport before a flight - it's still four hours. He loves trying new foods, reading fantasy and Hindu literature, and most of all, cricket. Find him on the dancefloor doing his classic slow-motion shoulder shrug moves!

Diptiben Jhaveri
Mother of the Groom

Diptiben came to Canada when she was just a teenager, first living in Ottawa, then Vancouver, and finally the Toronto area after marriage. She loves finding new recipes to try on YouTube, dressing up for a night on the town, and shuttling her kids around to their various extra-curriculars (although, not so much anymore!). Diptiben enjoys visiting her kids, no matter where they are in the world and no matter how long the drive. If you see her, stop her and get a photo!

Naman Jhaveri
Brother of the Groom

Naman studied science at Western University, after which he completed medical school and went on to specialize in infectious diseases. He loves reading fantasy/sci-fi, studying Sanskrit grammar, and travelling off the beaten path (he's been to more than 30 countries!). Naman is in his element when he's planning and organizing events, and he certainly has a thing or two to say about how this wedding came together. He currently lives in Windsor with his dog Luna, which he insists is prettier than your dog.

Binduben Shah
Mother of the Bride
Binduben moved to Canada after marrying Saurabhbhai in the late '80s. She has a long and successful career at LifeLabs where her and her friends have been sharing their snacks and lunches for decades. Her favourite past times include playing cards with her infamous poker group, cooking delicious and experimental meals, and making trips to Costco for the latest deals (and then going back the following weekend to return half the items!). If you see her, tell her when you are free - she would love to have you over for chai-pani-nasto!
Saurabhbhai Shah
Father of the Bride
Saurabhbhai moved to Canada in his early 20s with his sister. He can tell you what working on Bay Street looked like in the '80s! Saurabhbhai enjoys delivering religious/spiritual lectures at his local Derasar, watching cricket, and beating his competition at any card game he plays. He wanted to wear a pink suit to the Wedding Reception but due to Shivani's protests, he went with his back-up option instead.
Pranav Shah
Brother of the Bride
Pranav went to Sir Wilfred Laurier University for finance, after which he began a successful career in investment banking. His professional roles have taken him to New York City and London, and back to Toronto, where he helps the federal government invest in clean energy technologies across the country. Pranav is at peace when he's trying new restaurants, playing boardgames, or watching a newly released movie on his souped-up home theatre system. Find time with him through his assistant to ask which Formula 1 and Nascar races are happening right now. Zoom-zoom!
