When should I put my deposit?
The sooner the better, but no later than January 7th. This is our final deadline. Deposits are only $100 per person (See Book Travel Section). Only a certain amount of rooms are reserved so please secure as soon as possible to get the room you’d like! If you don’t see the room you want please email the travel agent so they can put in a request for you based on what’s available at the hotel.
What dates should I book?
Minimum stay at Majestic Elegance is 3 nights. We recommend arriving on Thursday July 20th, 2023. We are hoping to gather with everyone that evening and would love to say hello and spend some time with you before our big day.
What is included in the rate?
Majestic Elegance is an all inclusive resort. This means your room rate includes the hotel room, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and taxes. We have also included in this rate, the transportation to and from the airport .
I was given a plus one, but I am unsure who I am bringing. How should I book?
If you are bringing a plus one, you will need to provide the person's name and information upon booking, as the room prices vary depending on how many people are staying in the room. If you do not know yet if you'll be bringing a date, go ahead and book for just yourself. You can add a person to your room at a later time.
Do I need to stay at the resort?
Yes, in order to attend our wedding events, you will need to book a room at Majestic Elegance. You will not be able to access the resort otherwise. As a reminder, the room rate is all inclusive, so food and drink expenses will be covered during your stay.
What if I don’t see the room I want when trying to book my accommodation?
We’ve reserved certain amount of rooms. If you don’t see the room category you want, please email the team at hello@destinationweddingsexpert.com , and the team will make the request and get you setup, subject to availability.
Am I allowed to bring my child(den)?
We have decided to have a kid free wedding. We do understand that some of our guest have children and this is a family resort. If you wish to bring your child(ren) you are welcome to do so however, we ask that that you make other arrangements. The resort does offer a kids club as well as babysitting services (at an additional cost). If you wish to bring someone on the trip to care for them while you are at the wedding festivities, you are welcomed to.
Do I need a COVID-19 test to travel internationally from the United States? Do I need proof of vaccination?
As of right now, Mexico does not require proof of a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination to enter the country nor is it required to return to the US. Covid saftey guidelines change frequently, so check back for updates closer to time of travel. Airlines may require their own Covid safety precautions, so check your flight information for those details.
