For our first adventure together, we road tripped to Puerto Penasco, Mexico.

This is where Vanessa learned how to play Craps! She did not 7 out on her first throw, we swear!
The weekend after this trip we ran the Rock N Roll Half Marathon!
Pura Vida! This is where we adventured to Costa Rica!
We hiked and saw the Rio Celeste Waterfall, relaxed on some beautiful beaches and literally had a dance party with Iguanas (Vanessa HATES Iguanas), no joke! Ask us the story!
Coachella!
This was Shawn's first major music festival but Vanessa's annual tradition. We enjoyed watching Empire of the Sun, DJ Snake, Marshmello, Radio Head, Travis Scott, Lady GaGa, and Kendrick Lamar to name a few!
We journeyed to Mexico City and Cozumel!
We enjoyed sight seeing the beautiful city, witnessing El Angel de la Independencia and Chapultepec Castle. Ate delicious food, took a boat ride through Xochimilco, saw the museum of Frida Kahlo and much much more. We finished our trip and enjoyed some time snorkeling the clear waters of Cozumel with family.

This relationship turns into a rivalry during games! Padres VS Giants and Chargers VS Raiders games, gets a bit intense!
This is where it all happened. Shawn and Vanessa took a weekend getaway trip for Vanessa's birthday down to the Valle de Guadalupe in Ensenada.
This is where Shawn popped the question and Vanessa said YES of course! We stayed at the Campera Hotel, where you literally stay in a bubble with a view of the stars on a beautiful vineyard! A night will never forget!
