We met at our favorite place, MIZZOU! Alec was in his senior of college and I was in my junior year. We met through mutual friends and little did we know, we were meeting our forever best friend. One tiger tailgate led to a night of laughter and dancing, and from there, we were inseparable. Whether it was late night study dates at Ellis Library or sorority date parties, we made every moment an adventure. Our story began with after-the-bar Taco Bell runs and now, it's a lifelong journey filled with love and unforgettable memories.

After Alec graduated from Mizzou in 2018, he met up with his family in Houston, TX to complete his Masters in Data Analytics and Statistics. While Alec was in Houston, I was finishing my final year at Mizzou.
After I graduated in 2019, I started Dental school in Kirksville, Missouri. During our long distance stint, we traveled back and forth between Missouri and Houston through many planned weekend getaways.
After completing his Masters, Alec got his first job in Columbia, MO and finally, we were no longer 800+ miles apart! We made the hour and half commute between Kirksville and Columbia our new normal for about a year before finally saying goodbye to long distance! In 2021, we moved to St. Louis, MO together and spent 2 years there while I finished my dental degree.
I graduated from the Missouri School of Dentistry in 2023 with my Doctorate in Dental Medicine. After graduation, we left Missouri and found our new home in Greenville, South Carolina. So far, us and our two dogs - George and Kyler - have been loving the Southern life and can't wait for what our next chapter has in-store!

While vacationing in Florida with my sister, Kelsey, and her husband, Devin, Alec had a big surprise planned.
Alec took me on a clear-bottom kayaking tour to the beautiful private beaches of Naples, Florida before we enjoyed a romantic lunch. Meanwhile, back at the house, my mom, Julie, flew in to be part of our special day. Julie, Kelsey, and Devin spent the morning setting up decorations for a waterside picnic setup for Alec to pop the question.
After returning from our day together, Alec asked me to be his wife! It was the most special day and one the neither of us will ever forget.
