Dhaval is the father of the bride and very proud to be one! You truly could not find someone more excited to celebrate his daughter's wedding if you tried. Dhaval has many interests ranging from chemical engineering to watching the news, but his newest skill is wedding planning.
Dhaval and Hema have lived in North Carolina since 1995. He spends his time traveling, socializing with his friends, and taking long walks around his neighborhood with his wife.
Hema is the bride's mother, and she is the mastermind behind many of the wedding events. Her favorite activities include spending time outdoors, gardening, and microbiology. And, she's currently wondering if you had enough to eat. She can't wait to dance with you at the wedding!
Krunal is Shailja's younger brother by 2 years. Shailja and Krunal have always been close to each other. When he's not on the soccer pitch with his friends, you can catch him exploring a new Durham restaurant with his older sister. For the past year, his new hobby has been keeping his sister sane during the wedding planning process. Krunal is currently completing his internal medicine residency at Duke University.
Paresh is the groom’s father and he is always the first call that Nisarg makes for advice. He’s been the most dependable person in Nisarg’s life.
Paresh immigrated to the US alone, without any support system, in 2001 to complete his PhD in Engineering. He eventually helped to bring Nisarg and Varsha to the US. While still in training, he helped to support his family. Paresh provided the foundation for Nisarg to succeed.
He enjoys staying up to date on current events, talking politics, traveling, and socializing with their friends.
Varsha is the groom’s mother and his primary support system. She is the one that provides Nisarg with all his encouragement whether its small day-to-day activities or major life altering decisions.
She always has Nisarg’s back. During medical school and residency training, she asked Nisarg daily if “any professors were mean to you? and to let her know if they were so I can have a talk with them!”
Varsha has worked various jobs to help support Nisarg’s dreams. She enjoys singing, dancing, overfeeding Nisarg, and tasting various cuisines.
