General Info

Parking Pass - as a state park, all vehicles entering Jekyll Island are required to have a valid parking pass. You can purchase the daily pass at the payment kiosk at the entrance - standard vehicle is $8 per vehicle per day. 

Island Transport - all areas on Jekyll Island can be reached via a quick drive (your parking pass permits free parking anywhere on island) OR the complimentary island-wide shuttle available for all guests staying at The Westin Jekyll Island.

Things to Do

Become #instafamous at Driftwood Beach - picturesque beach on Jekyll Island's north end features numerous driftwood trees. Something you definitely don't want to miss on an evening sunset!

Visit the Georgia Sea Turtle Center - with a host of interactive exhibits and experiences, this educational facility offers a chance to learn about sea turtles and see rehabilitation efforts in action.

Stroll through the Jekyll Island Historic District - did you know Jekyll Island was once recognized as “the richest, most inaccessible club in the world?!"  Enjoy a relaxing stroll through this 240-acre site containing 33 historic structures, including the Jekyll Island Club Hotel and surrounding cottages that were once home to some of America's most wealthy and prominent citizens.

Take a bike ride around Jekyll Island - with more than 20 miles of picturesque paths and trails, biking offers a scenic way to see all of the island’s hallmark points of interest. Paths wind around sand dunes, beaches, and historic sites, while our ancient oaks offer ample shade.

Beach Village at Jekyll Island - from unique hand-made artisan collections to alcohol to sunglasses to gourmet groceries, the shops at Beach Village have everything you need. And it's RIGHT outside the Westin and Convention Center!

Jekyll Beverage Center - located right next to the Westin, this place has a wide selection of international wines, beers, cigars, and spirits, as well as wines and tequilas produced on the island

Flash Foods Gas - only gas station on the island that also sells snacks, beverages, and other convenience items. It's also adjacent to the Dairy Queen!  

Winn-Dixie in Brunswick (off island) - large-scale supermarket off the island about 20 min drive away
