What to Expect

Welcome to the Sangeet! This Indian "meet and greet" involves speed-dating the couple's families and their friends who've traveled near and far, consuming lots of food (a glimpse of what to expect for the remaining weekend), and showing off your garba dance moves (don't worry, you'll learn quickly)!

Dress Code

Colorful and bright formal attire (preferably Indian if you have it). Avoid black but everything else goes!

What to Expect

Well done - you survived the first night! Let's kick off with the Baraat, or the groom’s procession. Get ready to turn up with Gowtham and his boys as they dance and (slowly) make their way to the Convention Center. Keep your eyes out - there may be a surprise!

Breakfast at the Westin

Enjoy a light breakfast at the Westin from 6-10AM before the Baraat and the long day of festivities ahead. Don't worry, there will be plenty of masala chai and Indian snacks :)

Dress Code

Indian traditional attire (if you have it) or business casual. For ladies, a nice summer dress will work as well. You will be dancing outside so plan accordingly!

What to Expect

The moment you've finally been waiting for...let's get Serena and Gowtham hitched! You don't want to miss your chance to shower them with rice, perform arduous acts of walking around fire, and get them #blessed.

Lunch at the Convention Center

Enjoy a full vegetarian lunch with Gujarati and Tamil flare immediately after the wedding ceremony.

Dress Code

Indian traditional attire (if you have it) or business casual. For ladies, a nice summer dress will work as well! No need to change between the Baraat and the Wedding Ceremony. This event is outside so plan accordingly!
