We invite you to be fully present. Please kindly turn off your phones and cameras prior to the ceremony and enjoy the special moment with us. We will happily share the photos that are captured on the day from our fantastic photographers.

Please be aware when considering outfit choices that the ceremony will be on grass followed by a stand up cocktail style reception in the Sussex Barn at Brickendon.

The weather for our first wedding date in 2020 was lovely - so fingers crossed 2021 is also kind to us! However we all know what Tassie weather is like, so please keep your eye on the weather leading up to the day to make sure you are prepared.

There will be seating options to rest your legs throughout the night. However, please make sure your footwear is appropriate to dance the night away!

The ceremony will be held on the grounds of the Main Homestead at Brickendon. When you arrive (see TRANSPORT for more information) please follow the signs to the ceremony location.

The ceremony will begin at THREE o'clock in the afternoon.

Following the ceremony there will be drinks provided to enjoy in the gardens around the Main Homestead. Please mingle and explore the gardens before making your way across the road to the Sussex Barn (550m away) where a grazing platter and drinks will be available from 4.30pm.

The reception will be held in the Sussex Barn and surrounding courtyard at the Brickendon Estate - UNESCO World Heritage Site starting at 5.45pm and concluding at 11.45pm.

The ceremony will be held at the main Homestead at Brickendon, followed by the reception in the Sussex Barn.

A bus service will be available to and from Brickendon from Launceston, we just ask you to cover the cost with $15pp. Please indicate on your RSVP if you would like a seat on the bus. More details will follow closer to the date.

If you wish to transport yourself to and from Brickendon please see attached the photo with directions. 

If you are travelling from Launceston via Longford (Wellington St) you will find the Main Homestead on your right hand side.

If you are travelling from Hobart (Woolmers Lane) you will find the Main Homestead on your left hand side. 

When you turn down the gravel road towards the Main Homestead you will find a car park on the right. After parking please follow the signs to the ceremony location.

The Sussex Barn is on the opposite side of the road to the Main Homestead and is visible from the road. When searching for directions, Google Maps will direct you to the Barn if you search for "Brickendon Estate - UNESCO World Heritage Site".

3.30pm - Enjoy a glass of champagne with the newlyweds and mingle with guests // Entertainment to be provided by Reuben Koops // Drinks and Grazing Platter provided
3.40pm - Group photo
3.45pm - Family photos
4.00pm - Bride & Groom and Bridal Party to leave and have photos.
Guests to continue to enjoy drinks and nibbles at the ceremony location. 4.30pm - Jacks Bus to transport guests to the Sussex Barn. All other guests can either drive or walk the 700m across the road. 
4.45pm - Canapés and pre-reception drinks in the quadrangle outside the Sussex Barn. Entertainment provided by Reuben.
5.45pm - Welcome Mr and Mrs Fisher & the Bridal Party
6.00pm - First speeches
7.00pm - Main canapés circulating
7.45pm - Second speeches
8.30pm - Cake cutting & First Dance
8.45pm - Hit the dance floor!
11.45pm - Farewell
