WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ENSURE GUEST SAFTEY DURING COVID?
We are actively monitoring the local guidelines and will update our website as things change. California has recently updated their guidelines and we will follow whatever guidelines are required in August. Ahead of the event, we will share health and safety measures we are required to follow.
WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?
Semi-formal/cocktail attire. Men should wear a suit or a sports coat, no jeans. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses. Our ceremony is outside, in August. It will likely be warm during the day, but drop in temperature once the sun goes down.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN AUGUST?
We advise all our guest to check the local weather leading up to the event. Typically, August weather tends to range between 60-70F degrees. Although we have arranged for outdoor heaters in the event the dinner needs to be outside, Cavallo Point is on the coast and can experience cool breezes at this time of the year. A warm jacket is recommended!
HOW DO I GET TO AND FROM THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION?
Our ceremony & reception are at the same venue, Cavallo Point. We highly recommend you to stay the night so you can enjoy the festivities and everything Sausalito has to offer. Our venue is a quick 15min drive over the golden gate bridge if you choose to stay in San Francisco. You can drive and park onsite, if desired. Ubers/Lyfts are also readily available to request on demand. Unfortunately, we are not providing any transportation to/from the venue. Check out our Travel & Accommodations page for more information.
WHERE CAN I PARK & DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING?
We are providing complimentary valet parking at Cavallo Point as a guest of the wedding. Additionally, self-parking is widely available throughout the property if you choose to self park. When you arrive at the property the hotel staff will guide you where to go.CAN I BRING OTHER GUESTS?
