Saurabh and Hina

The “middle sister” and now a mom of 3 of her own- Nandini, Ariyana, and Krish- this COO of home and office runs a tight ship and I never make a big decision without consulting her first. We both love cooking, baking, home crafts, decorating and being generally... Martha Stewart-like.

Gone are the days of being called her “mini me” who went to the same college as her and moved into the city working in the finance world like she did, but she’s definitely forged the path.

My oldest sister and lover of all things Oprah. Kind, caring, and an eternal optimistic there’s nothing I couldn’t ask for her help with- whether it’s helping me with my college or law school essays or cleaning and organizing the kitchen in my new apartment. She may also be the only person I know who still watches General Hospital!

Friends since we were toddlers but always at different schools in different towns, I spent many a night in college partying with her in Philly where she got her PharmD at USP. Now a mom of 2 to Ryan and Nya, and working at the FDA, she has lived in the most states of all my friends—Ohio, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia, and now wayyyy too far away in Tennessee - but we’ve visited her everywhere! ..ok except Ohio.

Fun fact- though I'm the only one who remembers this, she suggested I meet her very funny and nice friend Saurabh wayyy back in college. Guess she saw something before we did :)

We met on the very first day of 3rd grade when she somehow knew we were in the same carpool and life has never been the same- and will never be again since she’s the reason Saurabh and I met!
She moved right across the street in 8th grade and it wasn’t uncommon for me to walk right through the front door unannounced. We were so inseparable through high school everyone knew us as a pair- “HinaHeta.” She’s now a mom of a dimply Iittle boy, Ariyan.

Natasha, or as we all lovingly refer to her, “Nut”, and I go way back to when her dad and uncle drove the carpool to my kindergarten at Mt. Carmel school. It wasn’t until after med school that she was finally local and we became much closer friends- she's so local she lives up the street from us now!
A fierce competitor at our game nights (maybe the fiercest), I don’t know anyone else who’s more up on the trends (and most importantly, the sales) more than her or how she keeps up between shifts as a doctor in Jersey City but we’re all grateful for it!

Neha Rana

It’s hard to pin down exactly when we became friends but she’s been a part of my life since we were kids and has been there for just about every milestone. Her compassion for others makes her a great Urogynecologist and she comes home to her adorable 1 year old little girl, Sienna. Neha is the one to get a gathering going in 2 hours’ notice and never wants anyone to be left out.

When I say we’ve been friends my whole life, I really mean it- and we’ve got the pictures to prove it. We’re both the youngest of 3 sisters with almost the exact same age differences between us. This now mom of 2 to the ever-so-smiley Maya and Niam is running a whole medical marketing team as a PharmD..but she was originally the person who I’d play Nintendo and Spit (you know the game) with all summer. We grew up 4 blocks from each other and frequently walked to each other’s house where we’d meet halfway with an ice pop for the “guest.”

Anyone who knows her is probably really confused about who Victoria is when we’ve all always known her as “Torie.” We met on the first day of law school when we realized we were both commuting back to Clifton. We became fast friends through our daily drives over the Tappan Zee and, eventually, we earned the nickname "Tina" courtesy of her husband…the third wheel (and provider of snacks) to our study sessions.
Torie's 2 spunky kids, Cameron and Emilia, and her full time job as a trusts and estates attorney keep her pretty busy, but I know I can always reach out to her any time of day and she’s there to listen.

She’s 12 minutes older than Ariyana but definitely has the “eldest sibling vibe.” We share a love of being super organized and as a real animal lover with a caretaker’s instinct, Nandi is the best “cousin” to Cooper.

Ariyana really let’s her creativity shine and has been an excellent artist since she was a toddler with her drawings of lions. Never short on opinions, she’ll tell you if she hates this song or loves your jewelry, completely unsolicited, and always has a story to tell.

Abhish is another one of Saurabh's friends in high school. While he has many talents, his wit stands out as one of the sharpest around. He will always make you laugh, even when you're the butt of the joke. He is a great friend that will call you when you need to hear from someone. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Neha, their daughter Arya, and their dog Charlie.

Ankur is Saurabh's high school friend. More affectionately known as "Bank," he is the life of the party. If you heard a crazy story about some guy your friend knows, chances are, it's probably Ankur. No one is more positive and loves life. Ankur lives in San Fransisco with his fiancé, Sophia.

Apurva Desai

Apurva is Saurabh's friend from... high school? college? grad school? While they've known each other for a long time, they only picked up their friendship after college, when they both were in grad school and had a very different schedule than the rest of their friends. While people were at work, we were studying, or playing fifa during class breaks and going out on weekends when the guys were on business trips. No one loves hanging out more than Apurva. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife Drasti.

Ashwin is one of Saurabh's oldest friends. It all started in the 4th grade in Miss Mastranardo's class when... well, you probably know the story if you ever spent anytime with Saurabh and Ashwin. Shwin is a neurosurgeon in Austin, living with his beautiful wife Ramya, their son Adi, and their dog Liffey.

Jino is Saurabh's fraternity brother and roommate from college. Jino is as close to an older brother as Saurabh ever had. He looked out for Saurabh and most everyone those long nights in college and took care of everything. His passions include the New York Yankees and halal carts. He lives in New York with his wife Boncy, and their daughter Anaya.

Kapil is Saurabh's fraternity brother. The handiest guy around, there's no project Kaps can't handle. Also an avid golfer, Saurabh has spent most summers on the golf course with Kapil. He's such a good guy, Saurabh can look past the fact that he is a Cowboys fan. Kaps lives in New Jersey with his wife Mona, and their baby girl Ella.

Although Kunal and Saurabh were law school roommates, they actually have known each other for close to 20 years. They first met in SAT prep classes, where they mostly didn't study. The 3 years they lived together were marked with many highs, none greater than late nights playing band hero during study breaks. Kunal lives in Los Angeles with his wife Ria and many cats.

Praveen is Saurabh's fraternity brother and former roommate. There is no one more loyal than Prav. Saurabh and Prav met in their first few days of college and spent the next few years practically together. Now that they're older and both lawyers, they are constantly talking about law, or more likely the Mets. Prav lives in Hamilton, NJ with his wife, Cynthia and their daughter Anaya.

Rohan is Saurabh's fraternity brother. While Rohan went to Rutgers and Saurabh went to Temple, they spent a lot of time together as Rohan grew up in South Jersey. Rohan is one of the funniest persons you will meet and is the life of the party. Spend five minutes with him and he will make you laugh. He lives in New York, his apartment is better known as the Gaf.

Sunny is Saurabh's former roommate and fraternity brother. He's a good looking kid and a better friend. Sunny is the kind of guy that will go offer to pick you up food and when it's not in the order, will not only share his food, but go back on his own and get your order. The nicest of guys, Sunny lives in Lancaster, PA with his wife Reema, their son Jaiden, and their puppy Teddy.

Zain is one of Saurabh's high school friend. He is the definition of inertia. If wants to do something, the group does it and if he doesn't, we never get near it. Always searching for the best things to eat, drink, do, he makes every time the best time. He lives in Chicago with his wife Muna and their cat.

Krish may be little, but he's got BIG moves. He's always been a natural dancer with instinctual rhythm and can put on a whole act coupled with his sharp sense of humor. Krish loves to build legos and plays soccer, T-ball, and swims.

Roop is Saurabh's niece and the sweetest little girl. She loves pictures and is growing up too fast. Her favorites include and she is one of the happiest girls you will ever meet. We can't wait for her to help lead Hina to the ceremony.

Kush is the newest and addition to the family and tiniest member of the wedding party. He'll be exactly one year old right in time for the big day! We are so lucky to have him be part of our special day!

The absolute BEST pup we could have asked for and irresistible to love! He’ll win over anyone with his hugs and kisses - even my mom!
No one knows our relationship better than him- good thing he can't speak :)
