Friday Gathering & Activity @ Deer Valley Ponds
We are looking forward to seeing you all to kick off our weekend together. This is a "come at your leisure" activity , and the gathering will include options for hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking or just hanging out enjoying the views.
We will not be doing any sort of "formal" hike or activity so come when you can during the time block to say hi to the bride and groom and have some fun.
We will not be providing lunch, however there is a nice grocery store on site, or we encourage you to to go into Park City to explore!
Anyone who is not interested in joining is welcome to spend time at the lodge using the Pool, the hot tub, or just enjoying the property and the views!
Carpooling
if you are staying at the lodge we encourage you to carpool to the ponds as we will not be providing transportation. Feel free to go on your own and plan to explore the area and park city throughout the day.
You can park by the Deer Valley Grocery Cafe (The closest place to the beach) or the resort parking). This is also a great place to consider grabbing lunch if you don't plan to go into Park City in the Afternoon.
Western wear!
You're welcome to wear your most trendy mountain attire, jeans and a button-up, nice flannel, warm and comfy dresses. (boots, buckles & bolo ties encouraged, and your best Cowboy Hat). Think the show "Yellowstone", or just nice casual.We’ll be dressed in our finest western wear, and we hope you’ll join in the fun!
Remember we'll be indoor/outdoor for the evening, so wear layers!
Lodge location
We will be hanging out in the main lodge area as well as the outside deck. Join us anytime in this window to see the lodge and the Bride and Groom before the big day
TImber Moose Lodge
The last 10 min of the drive is on a [very well maintained] dirt road inside a gated community, Please be aware and know you're headed in the right direction!
Upon arrival at the community gate, you will say you are there for the Reiser/Flessner Wedding Festivities @ Timber Moose Lodge and they will let you in.
Let's get hydrated!
If you haven't cemented it in your mind just yet, let me remind you that we will be at 8000 ft. elevation when at the wedding venue and at surrounding areas.
In order to ensure everyone has a great time, and no one suffers from altitude sickness, we'll be providing plenty of opportunities to drink water and get hydrated!

Ceremony ends - Cocktail hour inside the main entry hall of the lodge and out on the driveway

**Please note that Transportation will not be provided to the lodge for the ceremony. Please plan your driving, DD and rides accordingly.
Closer to the date we will provide recommendations for car services and such that you could reserve in advance or any other options we see as useful.
