On October 10, 2013, I traveled to Manhattan to audition for Porgy & Bess with the Royal Danish Opera House. After an amazing audition, a friend and I went to Time Square to get a quick bite to eat but not before I took a pic with Elmo! After fun times in the NY streets, I posted my pic on Google + and soon thereafter a young man from NY saw it and sent me a message. He said "I hope you didn't pay too much for that pic" I wonder who that young man was?
We continued to communicate via text then phone conversations then Google Hang Out on to him sending me gifts while performing around the world! Shortly after that we began dating,....May 10, 2014 to be exact! We both were so very happy and couldn't wait to start our life together. I finally returned to the states but was still performing. Joel planned our first vacation together to Las Vegas.
The love we had for each could not be contained. This is the black love you see in the movies.
He asked and I said yes to becoming Mrs. Joel Marlon John.
Time was flying and we couldn't wait to make our dreams come true! We set the date for December 24, 2014!
Our wedding day was the day that proved to us that the love that we had for each other would continue to grow, blossom and last FOREVER.
That baby bump named London was on her way! We couldn't wait to meet and welcome our beautiful and blessed Princess.
The Baby Shower in Maryland was epic from family and friends to the most amazing singers and dancer in the universe! Little did we know, we were just 1 week away from meeting our Princess!
The time was among us on May 1, 2015! We were so excited to meet the most important person in our lives. LONDON KRISTIN JOHN!!!
We watched and we waited in anticipation to meet our princess was like none other.
