Held before the actual wedding, the Mehndi ceremony is an evening full of fun, laughter and dancing. Women adorn their hands  with beautiful intricate henna designs.

Superstition suggests, the darker the mehndi, the more your mother-in-law will love you!!!

The day when we finally say ' I do!'

On this day, a tale of two cultures, traditions and families come together to create wonderful memories.

The Phera Ceremony takes place infront of the sacred fire (agni) atop a beautiful setting, called a Mandap.

Each Phera taken has a different vow, which is read out by the priest before we become husband and wife.

Please keep in mind that it will be quite warm on that day.

Traditionally, the reception is where the married couple receive society, in the form of family & friends, for the first time as a married couple.

It is also the night where the Groom's mother officially welcomes the bride into their family with an abundance of blessings and wishes for happiness.

On this evening, come dressed in your best, resembling a starry night - one that will not end as we party till dawn!
