East Bay (San Ramon, Danville, Oakland/Berkeley)
There's truly not a whole lot going on in San Ramon/Danville. But the one cool place (The LOT City Center) is right across from the San Ramon Marriott! There are tons of nice shops and places to eat here.
Best places at the LOT (walkable!)
1. Delarosa Pizza: Amazing, YUM so good 5/5
2. Marugame Udon: This is a super popular udon spot from Japan! It recently opened at the LOT so the lines are usually very long.
3. Curry Up Now: Indian street food/fusion.
4. Salt & Straw: You have to go here and eat ice cream.
Danville Food
1. Domenico's: This is Luvreet's entire life. He eats here every time he is in Danville many times buying a second sandwich to-go.
2. Sideboard: Great coffee/pastries/baked goods. Amazing veggie burger. Great lunch spot overall.
We'd also recommend hiking at Las Trampas (link to a nice hike) if you have access to a car, biking/walking the Iron Horse trail or going to Lake Chabot or Redwood Regional Park in Oakland. Feel free to poke either Saatchi or Luvreet for more recs :)
