Ryan and Fides

Ate Punky is the middle sister, the 2nd of the 3 Lim daughters.   She is also the incredible mommy to Luca and Penny and I'm so lucky to be their Tita!  Ate Punky is the funny one, and I'll openly admit that, we're all constantly laughing with her around and use her jokes when she isn't around.  She is great at making everyone feel comfortable and welcome, is always willing to host our family and friends.  She is more motherly now, but even back then growing up, she was a very good caretaker - she only forgot to pick me up from school once!  I've learned a lot from Ate Punky and know I have a lot more to learn, but I'm glad to have her show me the ropes.

Ate Ricci is my oldest sister, the 1st of the 3 Lim daughters.  She paved the way for the rest of us!  I like to say she has been blessed to share every single birthday with me since the age of 6, because that's when I came along!  I was probably the best present she ever got, and now we celebrate our birthday together every year.  As the oldest, Ate Ricci is always down to try new things and new places and to explore.  We've traveled some pretty cool places together (NOLA, Australia, New Zealand), and I'm sure there will be more.  She will always be there for you when you need someone, especially when you're scared at night or need suggestions on places to eat.  Ate Ricci is always looking out for us too, sending us reminders about things or updates on changes.  She has that oldest sibling mentality that continues to this day, and I'm ever grateful for it.

Megan has been in my life since 1st grade.  Growing up, we were essentially extensions of one another.  Her house was my second house, and her mom was my second mom.  I'm proud to say our friendship has passed through many phases and ups and downs, yet here she will be, standing by my side on my wedding day!  A lot of our laughs and chats revolve around reminiscing our youth, how naive we were and what we thought was important.  We also talk about real adult things now, like cooking and home ownership and what documentaries we have watched.  We've both grown a lot through the years, but our bond is timeless.  Megan is someone I can reach out to and know I will have her support in whatever I need, no matter what I need.  I know my entire family considers her part of the family, probably forever. 

Charlotte and I met our Freshman year at St. Mary's Academy.  Although I had Megan as my best friend, Megan and I knew we had to make other friends too, and Charlotte was one of the first friends!  We were destined to be friends since my sister Punky was in the same class as Char's sister, Stacey.  They had already prefaced each of us to find each other when we started school.  Charlotte is one of those people I can count on 100000%, it's not weird to go a few months without checking in and then call her one day and talk for a couple hours.  It always seems like no time has passed when we do get together, which is not as frequent due to living across the country from each other!  Char is one of the most compassionate, kind and caring people I've ever met.  We just get each other without having to say a word, and friendships like that do not come across very often. She is a great listener and asks the right questions to keep you in check, she has so much wisdom at our young age.  I look forward to going through this next journey knowing she is just a phone call away.
