I've known Rukhsar since sixth grade, but we didn't connect until we shared a class sophomore year of high school. She sat next to me and we haven't stopped talking since. Her mom used to pick us up from school. We would order pizza and browse Blockbuster while she got groceries. We quickly bonded over our mutual love of Disney, Harry Potter, and Twilight. Together we've been on a ton of adventures from moving to a new town to getting lost in a Canadian tundra. I'm so stoked to be a part of this monumental occasion, and I would like to apologize in advance for dragging everyone onto the dance floor at the reception.

I've known Rukhsar for about seven years now. We met through at the time mutual friends and I'll be honest, when we first met one another we despised each other. A year later, she stepped up and was there for me when most of who I thought were my friends didn't. Since then, we have been inseparable. We went to five countries in Europe together, took on NYC , and together we planned out more Disney trips than I took as a child. Now I get the honor of assisting her plan her wedding. Our friendship has always had a "tell it like it is" attitude with one another. That is what I value most and cannot wait to stand beside her on this monumental life event she and Trace are about to take. From mortal enemies to somehow besties, I can't imagine my life without her. She is the sister I never knew I wanted but somehow was blessed to have.

I remember looking back at old home videos and seeing Rukhsar taking care of me when I was a baby and being her little doll. From our trips to Canada, Florida (and all the trips you and my parents took without me) we have a world full of memories! Rukhsar has always been someone who I have admired because she always stood true to herself and what she wanted in life. Rukhsar is definitely a giver and she has given me some of the best advice growing up, she truly is the big sister I never had. It warms my heart deeply that now Trace can give her a lifetime of unconditional love and happiness. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. McLellan!

Rukhsar and I met when we were just kids. We bonded over boy crushes, ice cream, and our biggest dreams in life. She is as sweet as they come, as kind as they get, and as selfless and loving as anyone can be. Rukhsar's heart is a treasure and I'm sure Trace will take good care of it. I feel so honored to still be in her life almost two decades later. And to stand next to her on her big day as one of her biggest dreams comes true. I love you dearly, my friend.

I've known Roxy for about 9 years, we met when we were both transferring to Stetson our sophomore year, and we have been friends ever since! Roxy has been there for me in the biggest moments of my life, having my 2 boys and getting married. The fact that she is godmother to my children should show how much she means to me! Our friendship has always been a constant, she is always there for me and my boys and we are unbelievably blessed to have her, and now Trace! Roxy has truly found her perfect match with Trace and I am so excited to stand up next to her on their wedding day! Just talking about their wedding makes me so happy and tear up; so I know I'm going to be an absolute mess at the wedding, so I'm sorry in advance. I can't wait!

I met Rukhsar my senior year of college. We were instant friends. I remember after a week of knowing each other, having a sleepover with her and Skye, where we stayed up until 7:00 A.M. I knew from that moment we would be forever friends. After college, I moved to Savannah. Six months later Rukhsar got a job in Savannah and ended up moving to my apartment complex there. We saw each other almost everyday for Starbucks trips, HomeGoods runs, and Netflix binges. I remember helping her pick out date clothes for her and Trace's first date. The next day Trace came back and met Skye and I. We knew instantly that he was the one for her. Over this past year I have gotten to watch their relationship grow and my friend being loved the way she deserves. I could not be happier to have both Rukhsar and Trace in my life.

Hello I'm Kayt! Rukhsar and I met at Stetson University from our dogs Captain and Maggie. It was love at first sight, at least for our dogs! From there she quickly became one of my best friends. We even became roommates in Indiatlantic, FL together after college. We shared a lot of memories together from being roommates; lots of late night talks and countless spontaneous adventures. Beach trips were always in our forecast. Rukhsar even was in my wedding in 2019. We made a lot of memories being roommates and I cannot wait to make more by standing by her on her special day. Rukhsar I love you so much and can't wait to stand by you while you marry the love of your life.

Hi I’m Jenn! I met Rukhsar a few summers back in Savannah on what was the hottest weekend of the summer. She welcomed me with open arms and made me feel so special with her kind heart and easy going attitude. We bonded almost immediately over our love of all things Disney, crafting, HGTVing anything and everything, planning our dream weddings, dogs, and of course our beloved Georgia Bulldogs! (sorry Trace). It didn’t take me long to know that Rukhsar had such a sweet heart, and deserved the world! I am so happy that she and Trace found each other, and I am so honored to be standing by their side on their special day!

I have been friends with Trace since 7th grade at Irmo Middle School where we bonded over our mutual love of sports and video games. Fast-forward to high school where we played golf together for the first time and the rest, as they say, is history. This shared love of golf even culminated in us taking a golf "class" together while we both were attending Clemson. We have remained close friends since Clemson, with Trace being my groomsmen at my wedding in 2014. I am honored and thrilled to be a part of Trace & Roxy's big day!

I’ve known Trace since elementary school. Since then, we have grown up and been buddies since our times at Clemson. From there, I went to law school, passed the South Carolina BAR exam in 2016, and worked for an Insurance Defense law firm. Currently, I work at Clemson University as a contract negotiator with the Division of Research.
I have a beautiful wife and a fluffy white dog. I love both dearly :)

Trace and I met in the 7th grade and have been great friends ever since. We have been through a lot together, even fought one another once. We always have a good time though. We have been hunting together, fished together and drank a lot together. We even got in more trouble together than I care to ever admit. Trace is a great guy and I'm happy we are friends. You can always count on Trace to have your back. I am honored to stand by him on his and Roxy's special day.

I first met Trace when we played little league baseball together at Seven Oaks Park. We later played Irmo football and church basketball together in high school and have been close friends since. In fact he was a groomsmen in my wedding and I am honored and excited to be one in his. Trace is one of my favorite guys to have a beer and talk football with even though he is a Clemson fan. I cannot wait to stand beside him on his and Roxy's day!

Zach McLellan

Trace’s favorite brother, Zach, here! Been that way since day one! Seriously, go ahead and ask him!
I’ll always remember growing up, Tanner and Trace would get into it the most. Whereas I stood by, for the most part, as the mediator of the group if you will. It was a love/hate relationship between those two and I really just wanted everyone to get along. He’ll tell you that him and Tanner were always the ones holding hands in timeout (by far the worst punishment of all) whenever Mom and Pops would have to intervene. And he’ll also tell you that, a little later down the road, he’d eventually ask me, not Tanner, to be his beneficiary... It’s actually a pretty funny conversation that I’ll never forget.
Trace called me up randomly one day and got right into it. He said “Hey, I made you my beneficiary. So if I die everything goes to you.” And in my head, I’m thinking wow, uh thanks Trace? I guess I’m honored? But really I just asked him straight up. I said “Ok, that’s kinda cool but why me?” To which he replied, without the slightest hesitation, “You think I trust Tanner with my dead body?” Something so Trace - and Tanner I guess. So I just laughed and told him “Don’t worry Trace, your dead body will be safe with me.”
Now I’ve always looked up to the Yeti (and Tanner did too, he just might not admit it) even though we didn’t always see eye-to-eye either. But leading into our adult years, we were all 3 able to better understand each other and grow into the close-knit, unbreakable relationship that we have today. Trace took off for Clemson after graduating high school, and I just remember thinking how cool it was that my big brother was moving to our favorite place on earth. That’s when I knew, for sure, that I wanted the same thing. At the time, I used Trace’s success and life experience as motivation in my own life to hopefully someday be able to follow in his footsteps. Well guess what happened...cheers, Yeti.
Now there’s this wedding, and once again I find myself looking up to my older brother and thinking how cool this must be for him. Ever since Trace and Roxy met, I’ve never seen him happier than he is when he’s with her. So I’m sure that one of these days, I’ll find myself thinking that I’d like to follow in my big brothers footsteps again. At least one more time.
That being said, I couldn’t be more excited for these two to get married. It’s going to be one of the best days of our already incredible lives. So let’s get after it already! I can’t wait for the road ahead.
Oh, and as always...Go Tigers! CU soon.

Tanner McLellan

Hi I’m Tanner!
I met Trace the day I was born, about nine months after meeting Zach. We were the three best buds in the whole entire world. From that day on we lived together in perfect harmony, always being the role model brothers in our community. Whether it was shooting each other with paintball guns, pushing nerds in video games, or tag team wrestling when mom and dad weren’t home, there was never a moment of doubt that we wouldn’t be bff friends til the end. My favorite story of Trace is a pleasant one, a story that really sums up the brotherly love and competitive spirit we all shared together. As much of an athlete as Trace thought he was growing up, throwing me around the house or tackling me in touch football near Death Valley, on this day he found out that snow sports was probably something he just wouldn’t be able to conquer me and Zach in. It was a beautiful morning in Sugar Mountain on this day, probably mid-twenties and freezing, and Trace decided he wanted to be the fastest skier short of the Olympics. So we started off our first run together and it was going great, until about 30 yards down Trace decided to take a 90 degree turn right off the side of the mountain, disappearing entirely. Unsure if Trace was going to make it back down OK or not, me and Zach laughed our way to the finish line, enjoying our nice leisurely skate, uncontested. While awaiting Trace’s recovery, about half an hour later, a body bag comes sledding down the mountain with ski patrol. And just as he rolled past me on the stretcher, I couldn’t help but lean over and whisper something clever, “I’ll see ya back at the top!”
I believe that was the last time Trace ever skied, or did anything on snow or ice, and hopefully the last time he broke his arm.
Anyways, I’m so very happy for Trace and Roxy, and can tell she’s already doing some things with Trace that I never really could: loving unconditionally and controlling the yeti. I usually just ran.
In all seriousness, I love you guys very much and am so happy to finally have a sister in our big happy family. Welcome to the McLellan’s!

I met Trace in the Fall of 2010, when we both decided to pledge Chi Psi at Clemson University. We initially assumed we didn't have much in common and didn't interact much, but as we did more as a pledge class together and talked more we discovered we had a lot more in common than we thought- loyalty to our friends, love of Clemson football, enjoying a nice cold beer, games of Super Smash Bros, and unlimited wing nights at TDs (which never ended well for me). We then developed a close friendship over our time in the fraternity at Clemson that has lasted over the years, including Trace being a groomsmen at my wedding this past year.

Trace and I first met as friends of Tyler and Taylor when Trace was pledging Chi Psi. We ended up becoming great friends while he was my little brother in the fraternity and have made some fun stories together!
